What is a home visit?
A home visit is when we visit your home at an arranged time to carry out a foot health treatment. This includes cutting and filing of nails, removing callus (hard skin) and corns, and also treating any other problems that you encounter, followed by hydration of the feet.
What can I expect in the home visit?
When we visit you at your home, we will first need to sit with you and complete our client record form. This includes taking your name, address, date of birth, contact information, GP information and medical history (including any medications you are taking).
We will bring with us a foot stall and a foot tray so that the foot can be placed at a height that does not place discomfort or strain on the body, and the foot tray will catch any of the debris and nail cuttings to ensure that we keep your home clean during our visit.
We will then carry out an assessment of the foot to ascertain the condition of both feet and carry out the foot health treatment.
Once we have completed your treatment, we will clean up all debris from the tray. We take all used clinical equipment away with us, including any tissues, opened packets etc that have been used to ensure that your home remains as it was prior to our arrival.
What areas do we cover?
We offer home visits in the Southampton and Portsmouth areas.
